Stuck at the Airport

Whoops! My relaxing weekend in Marin made me a little too relaxed and I missed my flight home.

I'm now on stand-by for the next two flights so we'll see how far I get. Thank God for wi-fi and for my big, juicy issues of Vanity Fair and WIRED.

Still, it was worth it. It's official - my heart and soul live in two places now and the time will come when I have to decide. God, it's such a cliche but I think I may have left my heart in San Francisco, or more specifically, Sausalito.

Oh mama, can this really be the end?
To be stuck inside an airport
With the Denver blues again

Ha! I love it. This is your role in my life, Dr. MD, to provide suitable Dylan lyrics on-the-fly.

What?!?!???

Leaving Denver?? Why oh why?

Hold on there, Anon. I didn't say I was leaving, I said I was conflicted. Anyone who knows me knows that I take a long time to make big decisions. Come 2009, I'll have to start asking myself some hard questions but until then, I'm a Mile High Chick.

Oh! You made it sound like you had fallen rapturously in love, the whole 'leaving your heart in SF' thing, in which case, one would think you'd be on a jet plane there lickety split! let's hope your 'heart' --- what or whomever that may be, can wait 'til '09. But Denver loves you too!

good luck with this big decision, whatever it may be. yowsers! that's an eventful trip! i bet there aren't rodents in Sausalito.

I tell you one thing - as much I love Colorado - I'm going to think twice before I move again for a fella.

Well said. But maybe second time's a charm, right? Who knows --- it's really hard when someone has your heart and wants you by their side. When you're wanted like that, ooh, hot damn, is that hard to resist sometimes. Good luck!
