More Proof That I No Longer Live in California

Last Friday, I lost my wallet, which included my driver's license. Headed off today to take care of business and get a license replacement. Total time spent inside the DMV: 2 minutes and 34 seconds.

Liar, liar. Pants on fire. I don't believe it --- this is the most outrageous thing I've read on the internet. Ever. Today. Truly amazing.

Huh. I thought you were going to say the lost wallet got returned, cash and credit cards intact.

Anon: Amazing but true.

Fang: Nooo! That would mean I lived in Utah.

Seriously. How is it you walk around so well with that horseshoe up your ass? Just wondering.

Practice, practice, practice, my dear.

Get out!

When I went to get my CO license it took 4 + hours.

Lucky you!

Wait. California, NOT including marin. In marin, we have a welcome table in the DMV entrance, where a frindly welcome lady smiles, asks how she can help, and calls me "honey"... max time I've ever spent was about 5 minutes, and 4 and half of that was me filling out a form and chatting with the nice welcome lady about the weather. And they all SMILED at me, not just nice welcome lady.

Ooooh! How nice! If I ever come back, that's where I'll go.
