Season of Gratitude: Thankful She Didn't Win

Um, wow. This video truly sums it up.

After granting a pardon to one turkey, Governor Palin conducts a press conference with a live turkey slaughter going on behind her. Television stations actually had to blur gory parts of it.

Meanwhile, Sarah is blathering on and on and, gosh darn, is "Just happy to be here!"

Comedically speaking, she's the gift that keeps on giving.

"I'm where I need to be to prepare for that," Palin concludes, and then she not only winks, but she simultaneously clicks her tongue as she does so. Slick!

Like a dead turkey.

Oh thank you! I had heard about this bit, but I hadn't seen it yet. As usual, Sarah P. brings the unintentional comedy like no one else.

Best prop comic since Gallagher! Thumbs-up!!

Gotta love the guy in the back..."Gee, do you think I should wait until this interview is over? Naaaa."

I like the pause the guy gave, like, "Is she REALLY going to do this?". Awesome.

Oh my. I almost can't believe that no one realized that this would be a bad idea. The guy in the background looked like he was reconsidering. I suppose it's job security for us PR folks.

Any votes on where the pardoned turkey ends up?

I'm gonna miss her babbling on and on and on and on and on and on....

Seriously, I hope she doesn't wonder too far. I mean, I love Obama and all but comedically, there's not a lot to work with, especially with his knack for full, intelligent sentences.

Sarah, on the other hand, will never let us down.
