Life is Relentless

So, this is the pile of blogger business (and non-business) cards that I acquired at BlogHer. I'm determined to go through each one and investigate these women and their sites. It's going to take a while.

And speaking of being overwhelmed ...

Check out this monster zucchini that came out of my garden a few weeks ago. Happy to say that I'm nearly done eating it. However, I have harvested two even-bigger monsters since then, both inexplicably yellow.

Even more frightening, there are about a dozen more right behind them, ready to burst with squash-like goodness ... Sooooooo, anyone like zucchini? I do late night porch drop-offs, just FYI.

So I should be thinking about a business card to pimp rosalicious?

(Side note, because I think it's funny...the other day this guy gave us his business card at an event and it was the saddest, limpest, most homemade-looking card..well, card is an overstatement...it was made of regular computer paper. And his business? Art, photgraphy and PRINTING. It was very very sad.)

Oh, and that zuke ain't got NOTHIN' on my man!

You put mine on top! You put mine on top!

Haha. My favorite quote from YOU at BlogHer, btw, was "I'm going to infiltrate all possible groups and align myself with none. It'll be just like high school." I think of it all the time and laugh.

And also, I was going to write about 3191 or 3171 or whatever the photo blog you JUST WROTE ABOUT is, in a post about long distance friendships for the family business. GET OUTTA MY HEAD, WOMAN. You GO WAY NOW. ; )

Rosie: I ADORE that little biz card story - that is some delicious irony. If/when you come with me to BlogHer next year, you definitely need to bring cards. I can show you my batch you see in theh photo.

Laurie: Thank you for being my BlogHer Fairy Godmother! I needed you more than you know. Thanks for listening and ... er, actually hearing me. Curious!
