I have horribly neglected this space and it's hard to pinpoint why. I've been in a funk lately - experiencing a restless rootlessness and an unshakable homesickness. At first, I thought it was just my regular personality but I think it is something deeper. Anyway, I won't go on about it because I can already hear Fang's review,"BORING!"

Sister... no way boring, even if you're feeling blue, I'm here. Transitions are deep things. And you have feelings. Go with it. Of course, a little whiskey never hurts too ;)
I have been similarly unprolific in my own bloggy space, but it's been due more to scrambling to finish a long-form writing project (completed yesterday, thank you) before my life is completely upended by a Big Move to another state, rather than enuii.
What I wouldn't give to be bored!!
I had actually planned on celebrating the completion of the writing project with a deck-cleaning post of my own this morning, but The Boy developed a fever overnight. So instead of accomplishing my to-do list of fun, long-back-burnered personal projects, I'll be playing doctor with a peevish, feverish 4-year-old instead. Parenthood-the greatest job that will ever keep you from accomplishing your actual goals!
